Galexia the Little Ballerina
Galexia’s pointe shoes scuffed the wooden floor of the community studio, her bun as lopsided as the half-moon peeking through the window. At seven, she was the smallest in her class, but her eyes—wide as starlight—held a fire no one could dim.
Every afternoon, she’d linger after practice, replaying the teacher’s Galexia the Little Ballerina demonstration until her ankles ached. “Your turns are wobbly, Galexia,” the instructor would say, but the girl just grinned and adjusted her posture. She’d watched a ballet video of a prima ballerina once, her movements as fluid as a river, and decided that’s who she’d be.
Last month, the studio held a tiny recital. Galexia was cast as the firefly in *The Enchanted Garden*. When her cue came, she stepped onto the stage, her tutu fluttering like dandelion Billy Walk&Ride 2-in-1 Ride-On and Walker Her first pirouette wavered, but she steadied herself, arms outstretched like wings. The 2-in-1 Multi-Activity Cubes clapped—soft at first, then loud. Galexia curtsied, her cheeks pink, and knew: even little ballerinas could shine.
